Midterm: Poverty
For our midterm project, our team had to put together a presentation about a big mess that we would like to clean up. My team decided to do ours on poverty. Our team came together and used the skills we have learned to reach our goal and have our presentation done one time and well put together
First Things First: Habit 3
We also had to pick one of the Seven Habits by Stephen Covey to apply to our Midterm Project. We chose to use Habit Three: First Things First. This habit is about prioritizing what needs to be done, in this case how to prevent poverty. Stephen Covey asks, "“What one thing could you do (you aren't doing now), that if you did on a regular basis, would make a tremendous positive difference in your personal life?” If you made a change in your daily schedule, even a small one, that can benefit the elimination of poverty then you are on the right track!
Learning to Learn
Our team used the lesson "Learning to Learn" for our project as well. We focused on how we can educate other people about poverty. We gave the meaning, the causes and effects, lots of facts, and ways to volunteer or help control poverty around the world.
